Starting today, Monday, June 8, 2020, all IDX functions you MUST USE the Athena/IDX Application.
Due to the IDX cache database no longer being supported by the vendor at the end of 2020, the GWMFA is performing an IDX/Linux migration. This migration will result in a change of the Practice Management workflow, resulting in splitting the IDX and Allscripts application frameworks.
Below are the main highlights of the migration:
AFFECTED USER GROUPS
Admin Staff, Business Office, Operations, Contact Center and anyone that schedules patients.
Currently, the sign-on is to one Allscripts screen to access both IDX and TouchWorks. All functions will remain the SAME, but will be in TWO separate applications.
Please note, there will be NO functionality changes to the current system.
